Serrafin is a French independent rock band from Lille, known for its catchy melodies and poetic lyrics. The family trio gained recognition in the early 2000s with a style blending French chanson and rock energy.

Formed in Lille in the early 2000s, Serrafin is a French independent rock band fronted by brothers Christophe (vocals, guitar), Frédéric (bass), and Pascal Serrafin (drums). The trio quickly developed a distinctive sound, drawing from the roots of French chanson while infusing it with contemporary rock energy. Their compositions are characterized by catchy melodies and introspective lyrics, often imbued with poetry and observations of daily life.

Their eponymous debut album, preceded by a notable EP, laid the groundwork for their musical universe. It was with the release of "La Traversée" in 2003 that Serrafin truly solidified its place on the French scene, receiving favorable critical acclaim and expanding its audience. The album highlighted their ability to create varied atmospheres, oscillating between energetic tracks and more melancholic ballads.

Serrafin continued to tour actively, sharing their music on numerous stages and festivals across France. Their discography expanded in 2006 with "Les jours se suivent," an album that further deepened their musical exploration. Although the band remained a more understated figure on the French rock scene, they left a distinctive mark thanks to their sincere approach and meticulous songwriting, symbolizing a period of renewal for French-language rock.
