Superbus is a French pop-rock band formed in 1999, fronted by the charismatic Jennifer Ayache. The group is known for its catchy melodies and energetic stage presence, leaving its mark on the French music scene with a sound influenced by Anglo-Saxon rock and pop.

Formed in 1999 in Rueil-Malmaison, Superbus quickly became an iconic figure on the French pop-rock scene. Composed of Jennifer Ayache (vocals), Patrice Focone (guitar), Michel Giovannetti (guitar), François-Xavier Even (bass), and Greg Jacks (drums), the band distinguished itself by its ability to merge the energy of Anglo-Saxon rock with French lyrics and catchy melodies. Their debut album, Aéromusical (2002), laid the groundwork for their success, introducing a fresh and dynamic style.

Their second album, Pop'n'Gum, released in 2004, marked a decisive turning point, consolidating their musical identity and propelling them to the forefront with tracks like "Radio Song" and the title track. This album perfectly illustrated their characteristic sound: sparkling pop-rock, sometimes tinged with punk, driven by Jennifer Ayache's distinctive voice and songwriting.

Throughout their career, Superbus continued to explore various facets of pop and rock, sometimes incorporating electronic elements, while maintaining their melodic signature. The band is recognized for its vibrant live performances and its modern approach to French chanson, influencing a generation of artists with their communicative energy and colorful aesthetic.
