Natacha Atlas is a Belgian-British singer, a pioneer in fusing traditional Arabic music with contemporary electronic sounds. Her captivating voice and hybrid style have redefined world music.

Born in Brussels to British and Egyptian-Moroccan parents, Natacha Atlas rose to international musical prominence in the 1990s. After collaborating with Jah Wobble and co-founding the group Transglobal Underground, she embarked on a solo career. Her debut album, "Diaspora" (1995), immediately made an impact with its audacity and unprecedented blend of influences.
